Some variables are DB2INSTANCE, DB2PATH etc. We will see how to manipulate them using some commands.            1.      Set parameter for current instance: db2set parameter=value      2.      Set parameter for specific instance: db2set parameter=value  -I      3.      Set parameter at global level: db2set parameter=value  –g      4.      To view list of all available variables that can be set: db2set –lr      5.      To delete a registry variable setting: db2set parameter=      6.      To set variable to null:                        db2set parameter -null

It is a feature of DB2 using which you can change various environment variables which can have effect on server even outside the instance and database configuration settings. It is used to alter operations of your DB2 data server. Main advantage of it is that after doing any changes in environment variables you need not to reboot your server for changes to take effect, which was required earlier. Some parameters which can be changed using it are: DB2_SKIPINSERTED, DB2_MDC_ROLLOUT, DB2COMM. It is divided into 4 regions: 1.      DB2 Instance Level Profile Registry: Majority of environment variables are placed here. Variables related to particular instance are kept in this registry. Values defined here override global level settings.       2.      DB2 Global Level Profile Registry: If a variable is not set for a particular instance, this registry will be used.      3.      DB2 Inst ance Node Level Profile Registry: Variables related to a partition in a

Google’s Page Rank : We often hear about the Google's Page Rank. Let us see what is Google Page Rank in some quick and short overview given below : PageRank is an algorithm patented by Google. It was invented in the 1990s by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. PageRank implements the concept of link equity as a ranking factor. Each page linking to another page increases the PageRank of that other page. But it is out of date algorithm. PageRank is just one factor in the collective algorithm Google uses when building SERPs. It may be possible that a page with a lower PageRank ranks above one with a higher PageRank for a particular query. Building relevant links will contribute to a higher PageRank. Google attempts to detect and devalue irrelevant links that are probably used to manipulate it.

कल रात मुझे एक स्वप्न आया। मैंने देखा कि मेरा सुख  का समय चल रहा था के और मैं समुद्र के किनारे की रेत  में चला जा रहा था। मैं जहाँ -जहाँ भी जा रहा था , वहाँ-वहाँ मेरे पैरों के निशान रेत में बने हुए थे। लेकिन  एक चमत्कारिक बात थी और वह यह कि रेत में एक जोड़ी के स्थान पर दो जोड़ी पैर दिख रहे थे। अर्थात,जहाँ-जहाँ भी मैं गया , ईश्वर मेरे साथ था। स्वप्न के दूसरेभागअब मेरा दुःख का समय था , मुसीबत का समय था ।  मैं तनाव तनाव तनाव में था,विपत्ति से जूझ रहा था। ऐसे समय में,ऐसे वक्त में भी मैं समुद्र के किनारे की रेत मैं चला जा रहा था। किंतु ,यह देख कर मुझे अत्यन्त दुःख हुआ कि ऐसे समय में रेत पर केवल एक जोड़ी पैरों के निशान ही दिख रहे थे।  अतः मुझसे न रहा गया और मैंने ईश्वर से शिकायत की कि हे ईश्वर ऐसा क्यों? विपत्ति के समय में आपने मेरा साथ छोड़ क्यों दिया?जब मेरे खुशहाली के दिन  थे ,जब मैं प्रसन्न था तब तब तो आप मेरे साथ थे और  विपत्ति में आपने मुझे क्यों छोड़ दिया?  इस पर ईश्वर ने उत्तर दिया ," अरे पगले ,मैंने विपत्ति  भी तेरा साथ नहीं छोड़ा। जब तूने सुख के समय में मेरा साथ नहीं छो
